Technical Interview

1.IC ENGINES(almost every thing) Parts, function of rocker arm, cam shaft, how cam shaft gets power, piston rings function, valve timing of 4s diesel and explanation, valve overlap importance, if engine speed is 1200 rpm what is the rpm of cam shaft - answered, Gudgeon pin location, Governer Flywheel Difference in both of them. I answered everything with crystal clear explanation, he was very much satisfied. After that he moved to refrigeration, Vapour compression refrigeration ( block diagram, Ts diagram, and whole cycle explanation) Modern refrigerants and this section also I explained.
Now classification of pumps

  1. 1.rough diagram of gear pump and explain the flow path
  2. example of reciprocating pump(answered hand pump in daily life)
  3. Centrifuagl pump parts
  4. asked something in centrifugal pump that shaft is in discharge and how will control (not exactly) it is one of the two questions I didn't understood properly and didn't answered
