P.s- there were no coding questions or anything related to programming or IT domain, and the time span was so small,
The key according to me was I answered all the questions confidently.

Online test (Suggestion)
For Infosys though it’s a mass recruiter, the aptitude round (online test) is very tough compared to the other mass recruiters (tcs, wipro,cognizant,accenture…..,etc.).It involves both lengthy and tricky questions at the same time you even get the time for the particular question like in quants questions to time ratio is like 1:3. So be prepared to go according to the pattern. You can also refer to the YouTube for their pattern (mainly focuses on cryptarithmetic, syllogisms,).If you clear the online test, you almost crossed the doors of heaven. The chances of rejection are very low.
Interview Experience:
I took 2 months between the online test and interview (it depends on the area under which your college is located and phase wise manner they follow). It's like a one-one interview where there is one person waiting in the lobby when I joined the interview
⦁ He asked me to show the ID proof (as its virtual interview).
Q.1 First, he asked me to explain about my project
- One should anticipate these questions because, they are often to be asked in interviews
- I started explaining as I was prepared. He is very much convinced with my confidence levels and he stopped me in the middle (as I’m from mechanical stream, he didn't go to questions in the project as i explained it crystal clear with STAR method).
Q.2 Why IT? From Mechanical
- When you’re from non-IT branches this is 110% damn sure question, so prepare accordingly with your interests added and relate with your stream and add points like IT provides
- challenging work environment
- High scope in Future.
Q.3 Which languages do you know in IT?
- For non-IT students be perfect with C, some basic programs (Fibonacci series, Armstrong number, palindrome, factorial. reversing the number…. etc.,)
Q.4 Oops concepts?
- Objects, classes, polymorphism, inheritance, data abstraction, method overloading and overriding……. In depth he asked to test my technical skills.
Q.5 DBMS, keys and acid properties?
Q.6 Hr questions like strengths, presentation skills.
⦁ OVERALL, HE IS VERY MUCH CONVINCED WITH MY CONFIDENCE LEVELS AND SKILLS THAT I POSSES AS A PLACEMENT CELL COORDINATOR. CHEERS ALL THE BEST
