There were different panels for every interview, in my panel 5 students were there (All EEE student). Interviewer took 30mins for each candidate

In a 30 min of interview there were three rounds soft skill, Aptitude and Technical consisting of 10mins each.

1.Soft Skill Round (This round is just to check your comm skills)

2.Aptitude Round

Questions related to blood relations and missing object (This round is just to check your logical thinking)

3.Technical Round

Q. Difference between latches and flip flop

Q. Design a 2:1 multiplexer using a positive Latch and- negative Latch

Q. Design a 3input NAND gate using 2 input NAND gate

For Technical Round -Since the interviewer background was logic/Digital Design field, So the interviewer asked only questions related to Digital Electronics.
In other Panels questions were from MC8085/8086 mostly related to Interrupts and architecture and they asked basic questions from C/C++ depends on your CV what u have mentioned there.

Now comes the main point How to prepare for such interviews: -

1.Firstly focus on soft skills questions and Aptitude (for logical thinking)

2.Technical

  • Digital Electronics-Tutorials point (for less time), NPTEL videos (If you have more time) --(EE/EC people, pls go through Digital El part)
  • Embedded Systems Basic-Tutorials point MC/MP 8085/8086 - Bharat Acharya
  • Computer Networks
  • Operating Systems
  • C/C++ (Theoretical + programming

3.Do's and Don'ts in Interview

Do's-

  • Try to research about the background of the interview in LinkedIn (if interview name is provided by T&P and study the things a/c to his background) --(Most imp part of interview)
  • Show your polite behaviour.
  • Try to prove that you are very reluctant to learn and you are passionate for this internship for your technical knowledge.
  • If you don’t know something, just accept and politely tell to person I don't know.

Don’ts -

  • Don't argue with the interviewer
  • If you don’t know something, just accept and politely tell to person I don't know, don't try to put
  • some wrong information related to the concerned questions
