Uttam chettri (EEE)

No of Rounds: 2 (1st one is screening test technical and aptitude and 2nd technical and HR interview)

Overview

The process took approx 4 months due to covid and the eligible departments were EEE,ECE and ME .The paper for screening test was different for ME with respect to EEE and ECE ,a total of 40 questions were to be solved in one hour including technical and aptitude questions (Technical quite tough aptitude average) After screening test the shortlisted students were given a date for the technical and HR interview and after that final shortlisted names was displayed. Total applicants were 80 and final selected students were 3. Note: CGPA is not that important above 6.5 is sufficient.

Technical Interview

In technical interview there were two pannel members First they asked about my internship which I have done and then I replied them that I have done two internships which was on core field I explained in details about my internship and my role there.after that they asked my favourite subjects I replied them power system protection and switchgear and electrical machine from there questions asked were simple like difference between energy and power and their units ,basic principle of generator ,transformer , efficiency of different machines and different protective devices for power system difference between mcb and mccb value of hp and derivation Electrical characteristics of dc shunt series motor and generator, induction motor basics ,single phase motors basics.

HR Interview

HR were very friendly basically questions were from CV which I had submitted firstly they asked me to introduce myself and asked about my family members and the internships which I have done there they were checking my communication skills and after that I had mentioned different qualities like leadership teamwork in my CV I justified all these qualities with my past experiences which added a positive point. Also there was some scenario based questions.

Update your CV with the best possible way and don't add something that you are not comfortable to answer. Interviewer will be a very experienced person and will cross question in any point All the best.
